also essie is definitely going sledding today and i hope jeffy is too because i want them to be really cute sledding together. and in the snow in general. and lmao i just realized they have not dealt with this weekend's dance at all whoops. BUT SHE IS ONE OF THE FEW CANDYGRAMS I HAVE ACTUALLY SENT.
Jeffy has never made a responsible and prudent decision in his life when fun was on the line, and also he hadn't been born yet for sledding last year so he didn't get to experience that joy, he has to go and enjoy himself.
Also this weekend is definitely coming too fast and I can't keep up. We have hockey and I still haven't done my anonymous starters and I've only done the one anon gift from Riley and ahhh JUST TAKE A BREATHER, TIME.
OH NO THAT IS RIGHT. jeffy deserves all the joy of sledding. essie broke her wrist last year and this is not deterring her at all.
oh no oh gosh i forgot about all of that. I ACTUALLY DID SOME REAL PEOPLE CHRISTMAS SHOPPING SO I FEEL A LITTLE BETTER. i need to work on actually.. building the post for all these candygrams. and find anon gifts. and think about anon starters. and shop for fictional people. and pick out masquerade clothes. AHHHH.
The number of times Riley has busted herself tf up and not learned her lesson makes me worry for the future of Azurcrest and also Reece's blood pressure.
I was VERY PROUD of getting most of my Christmas shopping together this last weekend and thought I had time to figure out something for my nieces, then my mailman husband told me that I should make sure I get them in the mail by THIS WEEKEND, but he has Friday and Saturday off this week which means I need to get him to take it to work THURSDAY so I need to have everything together by WEDNESDAY and...... my nieces aren't going to notice that I didn't get them anything it's fine, they have several sets of grandparents to spoil them.
This is a lot of words to say real people shopping is hard and i want to go back to fake shopping where I don't have to worry about shipping speeds.
they put all the bad kids at the top of a hill what were they expecting
OH MY GOSH what i mostly got from that is... shit it's already the 12th i should not get complacent about shipping but also thank goodness because all the people i have to give gifts to are here. but also i'm the worst aunt and my nieces have figured out that if they con me into taking them to the mall i buy them a bunch of stuff and forget that CHRISTMAS IS A COUPLE WEEKS AWAY. sigh. i need to find some lumps of coal.
buying for fictional people is also better because i look at a thing and go "LOL I DON'T HAVE TO TELL THEM THIS ACTUALLY COSTS 500 DOLLARS!!!"
i should get my nieces chocolate that looks like lumps of coal or something, they're like 11 and 14, i can't keep up with what they like but everyone loves candy.
I get so embarrassed when shopping for rosy because I refuse to choose anything that doesn't look like it could reasonably cost a ridiculous amount of money, like someone's going to Google it and go "wow way to cheap out there Stoker." this is why Riley is the fun one to shop for.
that is an excellent idea. i keep worrying that whatever they liked last week is going to be totally uncool this week. i think the oldest likes cats though so i am like. good yes. i can do cat things.
lmao. i like. never know what to buy as gifts for any of mine. but maybe i am just not on expensive enough websites. essie is completely oblivious to how much money is. also. i have to share this shame with you but i was like totally googling to see if someone had happened to draw young nick jonas riding a motorcycle and they had not, but here is adult nick jonas riding a motorcycle.
When they were much younger I would just get them loud toys i figured they'd break by the time Christmas break was over and would hopefully annoy my sister, but now i go "is... iTunes a thing you kids care about or do you just steal all your music"
i have been thanked profusely for the accordian. but yeah. i'm like. can they wear makeup??? 8 is too young for makeup right??? should i stop letting her put on all my makeup??? why is she better at it than me???
that entire article had me in tears. it's so so so bad.
Makes her SLIGHTLY harder to find but also closets were VERY IMPORTANT and
GOOD LUCK before.
I'm just imagining someone from event committee having to grab something
from a closet and there's just this bunny girl crouched in there trying not
to giggle.

Pizza is a timeless classic, and I'm glad my comfort food disaster journey inspired something good in this world.

essie can't decide if hiding inside a closet is a GOOD or BAD idea.
