Which now that I think about it is probably why she is forever fiercely loyal to Ferdie and Roxie, because they wouldn't leave her when they were facing That Bitch Marge, despite them being... quite handicapped at the time.
Ughhhhh I thought it would be an interesting trait because most people write their characters like "an asshole, but incredibly steadfast and loyal once you're their friend," so I wanted to try making Sy be "an asshole, and not even one you can count on even if he loves you fiercely." But in execution it mostly involves me going "no no no no don't do this" as I write my shithead character being IC :/
this works for his arc tho since i think if he gets scouted, he's going to tell rosy he's turning it down. the guilt would kill him
I tried to do the same with Robin but he cared about less people and nobody expected more of him than that asshole who laughs at your pain.
ahhhhhh it hurts but...... also for all of rosy's insisting that she's totally super fine she can handle this for three years on her own, she has basically spent the better part of the year showing how very very bad she is at managing herself.
